If one wants to argue that abortion is a justified killing, go for it. But to say no one is killed is too much denial, even for this blue stater. And I am not a Christian or religious.
I wonder if Steve will say he’s “not comfortable” with an abortion debate.

According to the Guttmacher Institute, complications from unsafe abortions in the developing world contribute to 47,000 preventable deaths each year.

Unfortunately, the CDC has so much information on this issue, I can’t find the specific statistics for deaths due to this procedure for the U.S. Is it more than the 16,000 opioid-related deaths?

I don’t hate religion — to me, it just doesn’t make sense. People should be able to believe what they want, but when religious beliefs (abortion does not kill anybody) invade medical science, I have a real problem.
