  1. My federal blue cross that I have kept since becoming disabled uses Caremark for medication of 30 days or more at a huge savings. I pay the same for 90 days as 30 days. Our government decided to reduce my grocery money by requiring I must go to the doctor every 30 days, get prescriptions for 30 days even though it would cost 2/3 more for the medication that rarely changes. I was able to manage a 90 day supply for years but now punished because of the actions of others. Guilty for having several painful diseases. But the stores you mentioned discriminate and refuse to fill most of my medication anyways. It would be a lifesaver to have the money wasted in gas, costs to Medicare and blue cross for the unnecessary visits and the extra I have to pay for the 30 days of medication would allow me to buy a week’s groceries that I could certainly use. People on limited incomes understand. Dare I use the word boycott but the government is still to blame.

  2. It’s not like America suddenly stopped taking prescription medications because of the DEA. Americans will continue to take a lot of drugs. And Walgreens/CVS really does have a monopoly on the drug market.

I’m thinking that this report for the first quarter of 2014 may not yet show the effects of the war against pain patients…
