  1. I believe that there are many people in the West who are deeply distressed, and some who are in crisis because they are unable to constructively relieve or transform that distress or live with the expectations of family and society. But I have come to doubt the entire construct of “mental health”, and to outright disbelieve the brain-disorder model for mental health issues. Anyone wishing to investigate these issues more deeply would profit from regular reading in “Mad in America”.

  2. My “mental Health” took a fast spiral downward after the “Reform” with medications disappearing and then returning with nothing but heavy metal side-effects and relentless fear. My intuition was accurate when pharmacists, non-profits, and political representatives …all acted strangely and no-one could help when my sister almost died from brain infection due to untreated or labeled Lyme.
I am in a relentless state of fear, PTSD, and disbelief from all the “shock & awes” to my battered immune system. The overall secrecy keeps me hypervigilant. Agencies told not to help us. Feeling and being unsafe even in my own apartment. People-[“professionals”] that I thought I could trust triggering more PTSD w/o any regard for my safety and creating more intentional anxiety.
Waking-up to the fact that elected officials broke their constitutional oath and no-one that knew challenged this, but went along with horrific violations as if it is a game. Whose Mentally ill ?????
The “leaders” who take an oath to uphold human and civil rights within the American constitution and those in power who take the same oaths..

  3. Yes there is an epidemic of mental illness and I’m afraid that the Trump inauguration is going to bring out a great deal of it and not all will be non violent.
My fear is that all the anger Trump stirred up in his supporters during his campaign will eventually meet head on with the masses of anti-Trump Liberals, Conservatives and Moderates alike and then the violence will start. Mental instabilities taxed by all, stress, anger and fear will eventually turn into rage. This rage will undoubtedly leave the pages of Facebook and end up in our city streets as protests which could easily turn into riots. Our country has not been this divided since the 1860s.
Judging from Trumps actions already just as president elect, his response to these possible protests and riots would no doubt turn into a military action against United States citizens. So yes, mental illness is an epidemic that’s going to be living in the White House, in Trumps administration, and on the streets of America and fear will just fuel it as we saw with the lady in the video.

  4. She and many others are just acting like spoiled children who didn’t get their own way! They need to grow up and act like adults!
