there has been a lot of talk lately

After Walgreens paid a 80 million dollar fine.. we all know that the DEA ‘s aggressive tactics are getting in the way of legit patients getting the medication(s) they need.. I have thrown this art work together…

As a nation, we are not allowed to use aggressive interrogation techniques on those that are trying to kill our citizens….but.. the DEA.. is causing a large number of our citizen to needlessly suffer in pain.. because they can’t get the medications that they need.  Doesn’t our society consider the inflicting pain on another person a form of  TORTURE ?

What would happen if every pharmacy got a rubber stamp like above.. put.. their phone number or their NABP number on the stamp and stamp  on the back every control Rx that they have declined to fill.. for any reason .. other than out of stock.

Other Pharmacists would know that another Pharmacist had questions about the validity of the prescription..

Sure someone is going to fill it.. but.. just as “the word” gets out on the street about what pharmacies are “easy” … “the word” could just as easily get out on the street that particular pharmacies pay “hard ball”..  Give the DEA a better target … the “easy pharmacy”. Just imagine, if the DEA investigates a “easy pharmacy” and they find tons of controlled Rxs that have numerous stamps on the back of the Rxs that they had filled .. which shows that so many other pharmacies had turned the Rx away..

The stamp would not have to be as large as I have designed it.. and it could be a mono-color of the pharmacy’s choice … just large enough so that the ID numbers of the pharmacy could be in a font large enough to be able to be read… without a magnifying glass  🙂

Every questionable Rx that doesn’t get filled .. is one less bottle of drugs that may reach the street… The cost per store is “nothing” and the time involved.. is nil…
