Rumor on the street today 09/17/2013

At least with one pregnant RPH… BIG EVIL .. made this poor woman work FULL SHIFTS up and until three week before she was to delivery .. WITHOUT A STOOL IN THE RX DEPT !

I thought that slavery and torture was either ILLEGAL and/or at least IMMORAL !!

I guess that you have to have MORALS before you can do something IMMORAL ?

  1. I always kept my stool at rite aid. A few years before I left the Dm would try to take it away and say it wasn’t part of workflow. I told him everytime that I am not doing 13 hours without sitting down. His retort was I have an office in the back for breaks. Of course there are no breaks. I was always in motion until I got on the phone then I used that opportunity to sit. One time the DM tried to hide out stools in the storage loft. Lost whatever respect I had for him at that point. Seems more than a little childish not to mention belittling to a professional that I could not make the decision not to sit. Of course if I had a doctors note I could have a stool. I told him that you don’t have to be an MD to know that standing 13 hours wreaks havoc on the body. My back was always sore and my feet became flat over the years. Love working for myself now. Have a nice drafting chair that has a back and everything. Do you know that not one patient thought it was unprofessional to be sitting when they came in?

  2. Just another example of pharmacy chains and slave labor. We are going backwards in time to Medieval days where we are the peasants and the chains are the kings.

  3. Even the military let us sit down and I was a lowly enlisted person even. What a crock.
