  1. Ya know I was in the ER about 3 or so months ago. Had trouble breathing. It was exactly like the pneumonia I had a shade of a few months earlier and I said so. So what? I was of course MIS-treated there, over-analyzed (CT, Xray) with all shots missing the target. I also had to suggest my stomach didn’t work from untreated severe pain and mere bloating could be reducing the chest cavity volume. He didn’t know what I had. Wanted to keep me over-night and do a cardiac-cath. I said ‘Thank You, no thanks’ and left after he insisted I stay several times. He would “be right back” and I left like I said I would. This got the police called to our home and it wasn’t a wellness check.

Turns out it was bacterial pneumonia, the orange pleghm. Last week it got bad but I swore I wouldn’t go to the ER.

A NP at a CVS minute clinic had me taken care of in 15 minutes 360 degrees – Zpack. Two days later I am drowning in myself about to die, KNOWING I will die if I fold and go to the ER, sitting instead on the edge of the bed for 7 hours in a row spitting up at least half a cup of orange goo. I told him it was pneumonia.

    • God forbid we know what’s wrong with ourselves and say so! Most doctors today shouldn’t work in this field their only in it for the money the good caring doctors of long ago have retired died closed up shop or is in jail for being compassionate. They aren’t allowed bedside manners that cease to exist with specialized healthcare. I sure do miss the doctor you saw for everything rarely were you referred out the doctors of my youth they were in it to practice medicine cure the sick comfort the injured and if they didn’t know what was wrong they’d say so instead of making us out to be head cases drug and attention seekers. Like you I don’t go to the er anymore in fact if I were unconscious and came to in an ambulance I’d demand they stop the vehicle and let me out. Ive been horribly mistreated to the point I have more ptsd and been in therapy for the cruel mistreatment ive received

  2. It’s always better to find out exactly what the patient wants, and provide THAT.
