I am sending you this letter in regards to how I have been treated while trying to get my meds filled. Just about EVERY time I go to Meijer pharmacy in , Michigan I’m harassed by one or more of the pharmacist on duty. I’m asked why do I need the pills, what’s my diagnoses, how long will I be taking the meds, have my doctor ever thought about giving you something else? it was a time the pharmacist told me the meds was not in stock and I would have to find another store. I fussed so bad she told me they would be ready in a hour but 5 seconds ago they wasn’t in stock. I can’t allow this anymore something needs to be done. Can you send me in the right direction. Ive called corp office and it seems like nothing is being done. Ive even asked for the store manager to express my concerns but nothing helps so now its time to file some complaints. Here is a website http://www.ncpanet.org/home/find-your-local-pharmacy that will help locate a independent pharmacy by zip code where you will be dealing with the Pharmacist/owner and unlike these chain pharmacists who gets paid every week regardless if they fill controlled prescriptions or not… the independent Pharmacists are in business to fill legit/on time/medically necessary prescriptions and don’t start looking for a reason to refuse to fill a prescription. Personally, I refuse to beg any company to let me spend my money and patronize them… I had my own independent pharmacy for TWENTY YEARS… I know the mindset.

At some point every1 in America has taken a pain pill for one reason or another from tooth extraction to broken bone.IF they were 1/2 as addictive as they say why isn’t half the population strung out? The argument for The nanny state ends here. Some people u cant reach no matter what and what the hell ever happened to personal responsibility? Pharmacists shud be there for advice only, docs same deal. Screw nanny state. How much dope are they bringing in from Afghanistan now?
Saves them a lot of money. Med school costs a lot and takes a lot of time. You can do just as much damage playing Dr and any idiot can do it!

Somehow pain patients must have become sub-human. Anyone that wants to can make laws that torture us, they can lie to us at will and be backed up by anyone and everyone with the authority to stop them. From the CDC and its sister alphabet agencies to pharmacists and from state to local governments anyone can make guidelines, laws and statutes that cause us immeasurable pain and it’s quite alright. Animals can’t be treated this cruelly without people everywhere getting up in arms! But sentence a chronic pain patient to a tortuous life of hell and its perfectly fine because the real addicts are being supposedly protected from themselves and when they continue to use their drugs of choice their lives will be saved at great expense paid for with taxpayer money and sent back to the street to do it again while the sub-human pain patient is left to suffer until unable to stand their pain they quietly take their lives.
