  2. Exactly the propaganda that I expected. I couldn’t watch the whole thing either. It makes me sick that most people will swallow this crap hook.line, and sinker making people like us who have chronic pain and can find zero relief with anything else much harder than it has to be! Someone with the skills and equipment needs to make films telling the REAL story of addiction versus pain medication rather than addiction caused by pain medication. I wish I even had the writing skills to make the truth known!

  3. why do you post this with no opinion ?

  4. I could not watch this entire video because of the lack of information and the misdirection it is blatantly attempting to provide. While I feel sorry for anyone addicted to any substance. Or for any family member who has lost a loved one due to addiction. These media organizations and the law enforcement community needs to provide all the facts in these situations.
First, I’ve had several surgical procedures over the past 15 years and not once was I ever prescribed Oxicottin or Oxicodone. As a matter of fact, I’ve suffered severe chronic pain conditions over the past 6 years and I still don’t take anything stronger than Norco 10s every 6 hours. Yes, I live in a lot of pain and have been offered oxicodone in the past but refused it. I’m not saying that my fellow pain sufferers who do use oxicodone are wrong for using it, what I’m saying is that if I can control my pain enough to get by with Norco, that’s all I will use.
Next, IN the amount of the video that I was able to watch, not once did I here that any of these people were prescribed by a doctor these drugs. It was the cop who referenced prescribed opiates but didn’t provide a single piece of evidence that these people became addicted after being prescribed opiates.
Lastly, With the media blowing the opioid epidemic way out of proportion, the negative impact on all substances used to treat pain is only going to turn the general public against anyone who uses opiates to treat chronic pain. As an example. Here is an actual post from a Facebook pain group page that spacifically talks about the public misinformed about chronic disease. I’m not going to say which page or who this happened to, but I want to share this person’s encounter with a disgusting person who publicly called her or him an addict.

“Today this happened to me: I was at the self pay at Walmart. The woman behind me kept making annoying comments to me.”How long does this take you to do, I’ve gotta be somewhere, etc” My hands shake due to neuropathy, so it takes me a few minutes to ring up with the nerves misfiring, etc. When I was almost done this lady had the nerve to say to me: ” Took you long enough; maybe you need to be in a place that handles drug addiction!” I kept my cool and ignored her while I finished up! This woman would not shut up1 GRRR. So, I finally spoke to her: “I can’t control my hands/fingers from shaking, but you can control your mouth and what comes out of it, at any time.”

I applaud this person’s response to the one who was discriminating.

  5. It is because of propaganda like this, paving the way for more government attacks on doctors, spreading the wrong information on what causes abuse, that people need to learn the REAL cause of abuse. Every first week of the month, I hold a webinar on this. I also have DVDs for sale. This information could save your life, the lives of your loved ones, friends, or even people you don’t know, but your knowledge could save their life. There is no amount that this information could be stated as “not worth that”. Please—learn this. http://www.doctorsofcourage.org.
