Has the DEA become OMNIPOTENT and/or has those that the DEA is support to report to become IMPOTENT

DEA and Local Law Enforcement Raid Care By Design Cannabis Company

The DEA has been instructed by Pres Obama, AG Holder, Law passed by Congress and Federal Court ruling that the DEA should LEAVE ALONE those states and those entities within those states that are abiding by the State laws concerning the sale of MMJ and MJ.  Has the DEA become OMNIPOTENT and/or has those that the DEA is support to report to become  IMPOTENT.  Is it time to de-fund or dismantle the DEA ?

I was contacted by someone who was a Chartered Financial Analyst that took exception to me printing the entire article… under the “fair use” doctrine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_use which I understood that as long as you provided a link back to the original article.. copy right issues were covered.  But apparently the outfit behind this article take a narrow view of this doctrine.

I have taken this way of posting other articles for four years and nearly TEN THOUSAND posts without anyone taking exception until now.. I have used this process because I have found that from time to time… content of links have tended to DISAPPEAR from the web for whatever reason.

IMO.. the content of their article was not all that important.. just that the DEA was ignoring everyone and every entity that they are suppose to be supervised by.

  1. It was completely unnecessary to bring up the Republican conspiracy fetish of Benghazi in this discussion, but since you did someone should clear up your, well let’s call them “misstatements”.

First of all there have been seven hearings, all of which were partisan and lead by Republicans. There was 1. The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform 2. The Senate Committee On Homeland Security And Governmental Affairs 3. The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence 4. The House Committee on Foreign Affairs 5. The House Committee on the Judiciary 6. The House Committee on Armed Services and 7. The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

All of these partisan investigations found no wrongdoing by Secretary Clinton OR the State Dept. None.
At best there were recommendations on things the department could do to make the possibility of a repeat less likely but nowhere near wrongdoing or negligence.

Each investigation dealt with a different aspect of the attack and the ones that investigated the claim of this being spurred mostly by a video turned out to be accurate. Fox, Red State and various other GOP outlets always forget to mention that vindication. All of this is in the public record so it’s not like it’s hard to verify if – and I stress if – the person looking it up “actually” is interested in the truth rather than something that will justify their biases.

In addition the investigations criticized the Republican congress for cutting critical funding that could have beefed up security in Benghazi as well as other embassies. Funding that the Clinton State Department asked for by the way. Remember these were findings from fellow Republicans.

Finally, I’ve always thought it odd that folks in favor of either legalization or declassification would think the Republican party would be good for them. There hasn’t been a single GOP candidate that’s supported either of these positions on cannabis. Democrats on the other hand have supported some version of each.

I understand being for a party for other reasons (obviously) but if this is your primary issue it’s really a no-brainer as to who you should support.

From Steve: Thank you Paul for your comments… however.. might I suggest that when you wish to make comments you at least post them to the CORRECT BLOG POST where your comments might be relevant to the content of the post

  2. ohhhh,,I know tammy baldwins knows,,,at least 3 times a wekk she get a forward from me of someone being forced to choose death as the3ir only option because of tactics like hers who take away the god given right as a medically ill human being not to suffer in physical pain,,,,She also got a copy of the letters we sent the United Nations back in April 2015,,,maryw,,,

  3. It has become shockingly apparent that the DEA is not fighting the war on drugs, but declaring war on chronic illness. People who suffer from a wide variety of chronic illness including chronic pain, epilepsy and cancer have come to depend on MMJ to treat their ailments. The DEA has blocked research and development of medications containing cannabis every chance they have gotten. Now they are flat out refusing to follow direct orders from the President and getting away with it. This is the highest form of insubordination that there ever could be. IT’S TIME FOR A REALITY CHECK. Our elected officials need to know that as citizens, we will no longer stand for the mismanagement of our government, nor will we tolerate the Rouge actions of law enforcement anymore.
CALL YOUR SENATORS ON JUNE 21st STARTING AT 3PM EST AND TELL THEM THAT IF THEY WILL NOT REIGN IN THE DEA, AND IF THEY CONTINUE TO IGNORE PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM CHRONIC ILLNESS. THAT WE WILL ELECT SOMEONE TO THEIR OFFICE WHO WILL GET THE DEA UNDER CONTROL. WE WILL ELECT A PERSON WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING.

CHRONIC PAIN SUPER TUESDAY #1, CALL THESE SENATORS OFFICES AND MAKE YOUR CASE.
.Sen. Joe Manchin (D) of West Virginia. (202) 224-3954
    Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), (202) 224-3244
    Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), (202) 224-2841
    Angus King (I-ME), (202) 224-5344
    Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), (202) 224-2043
    Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) (202) 224-5653
    Bill Nelson (D-FL)(202) 224-5274

This group of Senators are the ones who supported the opiate tax and should be the senators we all call next Tuesday at 3pm EST. We need to inform them that a tax on prescription opioids should not be spent on treating addiction, but should be allocated to the research of better medications to treat chronic pain.
Tell them that taxing medications for people who need them is inhumane and unconstitutional.
Let this particular group of senator’s know that the Chronic Pain Community is not only claiming that they are violating our Human Rights, but we are also a very large group of Registered Voters. Let’s make next Tuesday CHRONIC PAINS SUPER TUESDAY!
