The Mentalist season 7: Team investigates botched DEA raid
The Mentalist has returned for the rest of its last season on Wednesday on its new timeslot, and fans were eager to find out what happened to Patrick Jane and the rest of the team in a case that involves a “botched DEA raid.”
The last episode of the Mentalist saw how Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) and Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) tried to uncover the mysterious death of an officer’s wife. This week, the pair works on finding out the truths behind a failed DEA raid and how an FBI agent tries to cover up the misdeeds of the bureau.
The synopsis for the next episode reads that it will focus on a certain Agent Dennis Abbott (Rockmond Dunbar) as he tries to dig deep into a failed DEA raid. His investigation is interrupted by his former boss who wants him to keep the agency’s wrong doings to himself or his career will be on the line. Now, Agent Abbott is torn between securing his career, or being true to his morals as an agent.
