DEA raids business… seizes legal CBD oil and CASH

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – A local business was visited by the Drug Enforcement Agency earlier this week.

Amarillo Police said they had narcotics officers on scene assisting the DEA at the Green Gorilla.

We talked to the company’s attorney, Ryan Brown, who said the DEA served a search warrant on Monday looking for evidence of K-2 sales.

Brown said they did not find any K-2, but did

seized CBD oils, which Brown said is legal to sell in Texas, and also seized some cash.

We have reached out to the DEA and have not heard back.

We also checked with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the told us they could not confirm the existence of or comment on a possible investigation.

  1. OMG! Our DEA who should be frenetic in shutting down decent MDs trying to treat CPPs adequately or maybe actually stemming the flood of heroin/fentanyl coming in and killing over 20,000 in 2016? Well they are busy seizing legit CBD and cash….
So pathetic, . is there any oversight on these clowns? No, silly, just like CDC careening without any one steering the bus…wrecking everything in its path.
When did all these agencies get trillions in funds and were allowed to just make up their own agendas?? And be run by blatantly inept ittle fiefdoms ruled by half-baked ignorant bureaucrats with delusions of power? We are being run over by tyranny and arbitrary regs based on fake statistics and “guidelines” from some non-medical BS in Psychology with a lame acronym, PROP?
Ok you can delete this but boy it felt good!
