I made this post yesterday Per FB: pharmaciststeve.com has been LABELED AS A SPAMMER
It would seem that FB decided the day before that 287 of my posts and 17 of my comments were AGAINST COMMUNITY STANDARDS… those posts and comments go back 6-9 months. All of a sudden … all of those posts and comments are AGAINST COMMUNITY STANDARDS ?
It appears that just this blog has been declared as a SPAMMER by FB.. I can still post individually on FB… and I have been told by others who have tried to share one of my blog’s posts using the hyperlinks from my blog are DENIED to post because my entire blog has been declared as a SPAMMER… of course there is almost 9500 posts on my blog.
Below is what another chronic painer posted today… regarding the person who many believe is behind my blog being labeled as a SPAMMER BY FB… I did not bow to his demands to delete a post that his name was not mentioned in and the post was done TWO YEARS AGO and he just started up about it a few weeks ago.. I took the post and made it private and with a password. I did not eliminate the “evidence” as to what I said – or not said – about the person in the post.. I did not know what he was up to… apparently the person got their panties in a knot over not destroying the evidence. Another chronic painer shared that he had contacted LEGAL AID …. was going to sue me… but legal aid said that there was NOTHING THERE… just a ‘gold digger” of sorts… looking for some “free money”…
Well I’ve seen a few people put Steve down to further their own agenda. Sometimes crooks and thieves need a bad guy to blame so they look like a victim or helpless in some way in order to get money from the community. Lately, there’s been this one guy Steve wrote an article about a yr ago last Christmas. He was going to do this starvation diet saying he’d had it with doctors and his pain was too great to live. But then WOW a MIRACLE happened he suddenly found a doctor to take him but then needed money to pay and for a possible script. However, before that he was just being pitiful saying he wanted money to send his mother on a train trip around the CO mts. Then within a couple weeks he did yet another gofundme then another then folks said they caught him asking if they’d send him some of their script meds if they had any left over. Well, I looked into this guy and found he had quite the extensive criminal record including drug shit. Of course, he found out that his records were shared and he was innocent of all 5-8 different offenses. The community got split because not many followed the guy every day so they’d miss important lies. Recently he just went at Steve again on his page complaining of that one article that Steve had made private over a yr ago. That’s it in a nutshell. He’s a chronic whining scammer (IMO). He’s had many many gofundme’s and now is asking for direct pay to a venmo account. He got tired of being found out about the gofundme’s is my guess.
I am going to continue to blog until the end of the year… then it will all depend if the chronic pain community is reading my blog postings… If no one is reading… there is no sense in me wasting my time with the posting. I have already donated way too much time over the last ten years … to continue to advocate on behalf of a community who condones/shields such dissenters/distruptors with the community.
I am going to offer other active chronic pain advocates – who are having trouble with being censored – time/space on my blog… maybe set up some sub websites/domains for certain groups to use… we may find out WHO NEEDS FB?
I really don’t have a dog in this fight, Barb – given her health issues and age – her QOL/pain management is probably optimized as much as possible. I can fight my own battles.
If you know who these dissenters are … unfollow them, unfriend them, ostracize them from the community… they don’t have the best interest for those in the community.
I just read today where Saturday another highly visible advocate – has thrown in the towel…
Maybe the chronic pain community likes – or doesn’t understand that they are painting- themselves in a corner and put their hopes in future to get adequate pain management to those who are now viewed by many as dissenters and disruptors

There are other places to post and I think it’s time to leave FB and move to another venue ( talking everyone). I read the blog from email. Big tech is blocking what we say, what we read, and how we think. What ever your beliefs, the last 2 years with Covid-19 has exposed how far the left and social media will go to push a narrative. Medical information is banned and labeled dangerous. Free speech isn’t allowed unless it’s the right speech. A website were there are posts from the pain community and posts from Steve and other qualified people would be great.
Pharmacist Steve, you are not a spammer! I even looked it up! This is ridiculous. I don’t know who said those things about your post, but I know if you looked into the person you have it right. I say speak freely and let it go. I still believe words can’t hurt you if you don’t let them hurt you. Threatening people is a completely different scenario and I understand staying away from those people. To the rest of the pain community i say this…. if we’re not going to work together then we better start working twice as hard alone or we’re going to lose this fight!
I’ve tried to go on FB and complain about the person involved and put in a word about his accusations being false. But I can’t see how. The only thing a complaint allows you to do is block the character, not report him. If anyone knows how to contact FB about correcting this misuse of censorship, please let me know at lindacheekmd@gmail.com.
I read all Steve’s blog posts. Everyone of them through email. I dont use Facebook but Pharmacist Steve has been a Tremendous Asset to All in the pain community. It saddens me that somebody is doing this. I hope Steve keeps fighting back and whoever it is attacking him is found and exposed in shame.
Steve, my heart is breaking. I didn’t know until I read this who was responsible for this mess. He scammed me and when he offered to refund all the money to people he only did it for the Go FundMe. I had made a donation through his bank account. I messaged him and he said he would. You know what happened next…nothing. I should have disputed it but didn’t have it in me. I read all your emails and posts that were on FB. I can’t imagine the frustration you are feeling. Please stand strong and don’t let this jerk stop you. Thanks for all you do. Hugs and prayers!
IMO, it’s time we list these individuals and eliminate them. Why allow these dissenters to divide and conquer the people who help us the most? It saddens me to see what is happening, yet l be live FB is on its way out, as the narrative is being directed by them. The fact checkers do not really check the facts and one squeak from a BS wallflower gets Advocates so frustrated they quit. Sadly, this is what they want and they are getting it? Let us list these individualize and remove them is what l say? Nothing wrong with remover the real scammers is there?
Well clearly they were for us and THEN went crazy. One reason they might now want to ‘stick a finger in the pie’ is that chasing multiple agendas and multiple request for help, and multiple ‘wants’ above essential NEEDS quickly leads to frustration and hopelessness. THAT is ONE reason why I have always said the pursuit, first and foremost, has to be about recovering the opiates. OPIATES ONLY.
Who else is this person attacking? Is anyone harassing American Pain & Disability Foundation?
Steve, you are always welcome to come on board Doctorsofcourage to write original posts. I know on Pharmacist Steve that you share posts from other sources. I’m always happy when you share mine. But I don’t know the legal ramifications for doing that, so I would want your posts on DoC to only be original. Let me know if you are interested.
My daughter and I were just discussing the person you are referring to. We are just blown away by the people literally desperate to throw money at this individual. They won’t financially support the organizations that are trying so hard to get federal legislation passed to end this fight and ensure our access to meds, but they will literally sell a kidney to make sure this person gets money. I don’t want to go into anymore detail, but I’m so upset at where the chronic pain community is at these days. As we dissolve, the anti- opioid groups gain strength from our distress. All the deaths of loved ones and friends from untreated pain will mean NOTHING if we let the agitators win. Let’s refocus and make every day in this fight count.

Steve~ I’m so sorry you’re dealing with all of this. I had made a post re: writing the AMA & included a link of yours. I was notified the other day from FB, that it “went against community standards”. I’ve disputed it, but the reply was “with Covid we don’t have many reviewers at this time and your dispute may take a long time to review” . I enjoy your emails/blogs, etc and the information you provide is invaluable. I understand if you want to discontinue. The CPP community needs to stand together and keep fighting if we want to see change.
