there is a old saying, that figures never lie and liars always figure… these charts are plotting the same numbers on opiate/illegal drugs OD’s. Except the first graphic, appears to be created by someone/entity that wants more restrictions on Rx opiates – just look at the insert box on the right of the graphic – BOLD EVIDENCE BASED ACTIONS NEEDED. The same chart shows abt 30 OD/100,000 population… where the other chart topped out at 12 OD/100,000… Amazing how someone can make a chart look REALLY BAD… by taking all the various OD numbers and combining – 6 different illegal substances into a SINGLE LINE GRAPH. One thing that they both show is that soon after the CDC guidelines were published, opiate OD’s.. increased dramatically and they seemed to increase more in the last year – after the new administration came to power and now our southwestern board is WIDE OPEN and according to the media the Mexican cartels are taking full advantage and we have a tsunami of illegal substances coming across our border. We know population reduction is what they are after and there’s no doubt about it that “they” have been very successful, just with this opioid fiasco alone.
