This came my way today:
April 17 (Reuters) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is requiring labels of all long-acting opioids to say they should be used strictly for patients in severe pain, a response to surging overdoses and deaths each year from the widely used pain medicine
Describing a subjective disease’s acuity with a subjective definition? This is the agency in charge of making sure that drugs are safe & effective ? Is the collective intelligence on “the hill” in decline ?
What Einstein would think about the war on drugs !

How do we show we are in severe pain when picking up a script and the medication we take is doing the job its suppose to do and we look normal.
But deep inside the pain still there just with less suffering.
I will just bring my last MRI radiology report with me.
