Why doesn’t he ?

threemonkeys-300x225 I got this question posed to me indirectly from another pharmacist and the question was “Why doesn’t Steve write more about Pharmacy issues ?”

The answer is pretty simple.. .since I don’t work in pharmacy anymore.. I can only write about what other Pharmacists send me about what is going on out there in the “World of Pharmacy”.. or I can regurgitate what is printed in DRUG TOPICS , PHARMACY TIMES or other industry journals.

I have a number of Pharmacists that routinely send me links to issues.. and I try to use most of them.. in one manner or another.

On the other hand.. there are an estimated 116 million chronic pain pts and some 300 K odd pharmacists… there is much more going on in that segment of the population that the “world of pharmacy”. Although Pharmacists are a large part of what is going on in the chronic pain community.

I welcome anyone who wants to be a guest commentator … you can post comments on any of my blog post anonymously or send me a email steve@steveariens.com and I will cut/paste so that there is no link to it origin.. if that is what the writer wishes.. Out of the thousands of comments that my blog as received over the past 2 + yrs… I can remember of only deleting one that I believe was the only one that the spam filter had missed..  Those that have posted have been respectful of the basic topics on my blog. I don’t always agree with all the comments.. but.. that it what this whole  experiment in blogging and the internet is all about..

The focus of this blog has been and will continue to be on Pharmacist’s bad work environment, medication errors and issues of the chronic pain community not getting treated like other pts with chronic disease issues.

You got something to say or want said… putting it in writing  and send it along.. Otherwise.. this blog is what it is…:-)
