The pharmacist shortage is NEWS to me and I live in Mississippi! That is all we need is an over-saturation of pharmacists in the state and the chains will be firing pharmacists left and right because they don’t meet some stupid metric. All these kids wanting to be pharmacists just see MONEY. They don’t see the stress and the ridiculous work environment. If they think they will be ‘professionals’ and use their own judgement, they will quickly learn that all the ‘bull’ the pharmacy schools teach is an illusion in the real world of chain pharmacy. We are treated like every other corporate slave and can be fired at a moments notice. Also, Mississippi has no laws to protect workers….NONE!
