Thank you for your insights. Helped me understand my doctor’s fears concerning pain medication. When she said “It’s out of my hands!”, I understand that docs are not in control of opioid prescribing, and everyone is confused and frightened. Too bad the CDC has been vague leaving wiggle room in their “guidelines”.
