  1. Heartbreaking! It is a disgrace that americans are left to suffer in pain. I am one of them and life isn’t worth living some days. Constant pain wears one down and add to that the stress of worrying about finding a pharmacy to fill pain med rxs every month really takes a toll mentally on me. Fifteen yrs ago I was prescribed Oxycontin 80mg to control my pain. Today I take 10mg Hydrocodone, if I can find a pharmacy to fill it. My doctor is wonderful, he will prescribe “whatever I can find” as he puts it. I get minimal relief, if any, from the hydrocodone and dread the days I have to fill it. I am legally disabled and getting in and out of vehicle as many as 10 times in a day trying to find a pharmacy to fill it causes me MORE pain. I am truly considering ending my life as I have no quality of life and without stronger pain medication I can’t imagine living this way for years to come. I am 64 and feel my life is over. Hope? Yes I had hope for years as I believed this problem filling pain meds would be resolved but I now realize it was just wishful thinking on my part. Ive written letters, filed complaints, called my state politicians and lawmakers but sadly nothing has changed. I have held on to “hope” for as long as I could, I can’t hang on much longer.

  2. That is the first time that I have been compared to Ritalin and Amphetamines 🙂

  3. I’m looking forward to more! Well thought out & informative, it kept me interested and for someone with ADD, that’s pretty good 🙂
