Here is a survey where ONLY 35% of the respondents picked accuracy as one of their TOP THREE CHOICES… The top three choices was CONVENIENCE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, WAIT TIME…

Is accuracy a “given”?? … because generally we are so damn good at being accurate?

Are we becoming so focused on trying to meet the first three wants… with reduced staffing … that we are putting accuracy at risk?

Have we been too successful at making our product and service as a commodity… in reality being viewed as “fast-food pharmacy” as an industry?

Is this another example of how pharmacy has failed to educate patients in what their “needs” should be.. instead of allowing them to determine that their “wants” should have a higher priority than what they “need”?
