  1. I have had issues on all levels. I now can’t get help unless I agree to take suboxone. I am not an addict and will not allow that diagnosis on my chart in order to take a more addictive drug. I have a 17 year long story of being cut off medication, refusal of treatment, open discrimination, insurance fraud, and flat out malpractice.

  2. My pharmacy wouldn’t fill my script because the doctor who wrote it is in San Francisco. They fill the others from a doctor in San Mateo. They finally said they didn’t want to get “red flagged “ by filling it. I had to call five other places to get it filled

  3. Too bad all my stories of pharmacy nightmares are several years old, or I’d sure volunteer to tell ’em. I was still able to work at the time, but lost 2-3 days of work a month, driving all over central NC to try & find a pharmacy that’d fill my pain med scrip. Thank God I had a great doc who allowed me to go to different pharmacies, or I’d have spent a good 30% of my time without the meds b/c the pharmacies “ran out & had to order more” or the pharmacist “didn’t believe” I needed them b/c I “looked too healthy” or…all the usual stories. The addition of PBMs has just exacerbated an existing nightmare problem.
