Today I started looking for some CE to do for the year.. Jumped out to the Power-Pak website https://www.powerpak.com/
Tell them what professional you are and subject matter.. I always start with something about pain management..
I always first look at the questions… with this subject matter in particular.. if the questions are rather – what I consider – simplistic .. I will just take the test and not read the text.. and I have always passed.. can’t say that about many other subject matters.
First popped up a new article by a well known professor from one of the “Legacy ” Pharmacy schools… and it was financially supported by one of the generic drug companies that produces a lot of opiates.
The title CHRONIC OPIUM THERAPY FOR NON- CANCEROUS CHRONIC PAIN.
My first thought was “.. I don’t think the FDA approves opiates for non-cancerous pain..” so I am going to take a 2.0 CE program on a “off-label use”
Haven’t drug companies been fined millions of dollars for promoting their drugs for off-label use?
I took the test.. and got the certificate… what the hell.. maybe you can promotes generics for anything they damn please.. Like I really care.. I got my CE !
