According to this that showed up in my inbox …. those CVS employees that signed the ARBITRATION OF WORKPLACE AGREEMENT with CVS… you can rescind your agreeing to it.

Too many employees lining up to sue CVS ? updated 10/11/2014

  1. Don’t worry, that document won’t hold up in a legal preceding. If you plan to sue CVS for wrongful termination etc etc talk to a lawyer first.

  2. If it’s true that it can be rescinded I’d like to know about it. I did not opt out for fear that I would be fired under some trumped-up “failing to meet metrics” charges. I felt like I didn’t have a choice at the time, but I’m starting not to care so much.

  3. We had no choice about agreeing to it. It automatically became effective 30 days after the employee opened the Learn Net module. There was no agreeing or disagreeing. To opt out, we had to send a statement to that effect in writing and by regular mail to CVS within 30 days of opening the module. I did that and got a delivery receipt from USPS. There is no opting out now.
