   We needed many thousands of CPP’s and the general public, doctors, etc., to VISABLY fight this evil beginning back in 2016 (even prior to this), but unfortunately, too many people refused to get involved for various reasons (only a small % were legitimate excuses). Now, a large % of pain patients have lost their medications that provided relief, so even those who did try to fight this, can no longer do it. In addition, SO MANY doctors have also given up the fight due to fear of the DEA. I’m sorry but emails and phone calls aren’t the answer. We needed literally thousands in every state to meet with their representatives (for starters)! Back in 2016, although many lost their pain care, it was a drop in the bucket compared to now, and those who were still having their pain treated, weren’t willing to get involved either because it didn’t affect them (and they never thought they would lose their pain care), or they were afraid to have their faces or names seen as fighting for pain patients (yes, I heard this many, many times)! Now there are too few who are fighting against the propaganda to make a difference. Plus, most advocacy groups are in it for themselves instead of everyone joining together so a real impact can be made! I don’t know what the answer is anymore. You can’t force people to take an hour out of their day twice/year or even once/year to visit their representatives/provide them with the FACTS and disputing the lies, and we can’t expect the same handful of people to keep banging their heads against the wall without an army WITH THEM! Sure, it’s hard to get out of bed when your pain isn’t being treated, but there is only one way to change this and either way, there will be pain, so why not try to make change happen while in pain instead of laying in bed and complaining about it on Facebook? We need a massive amount of people to descend upon their state reps (preferably senators but even their staffers is acceptable), and share the truth with them. God knows there are enough articles that show the truth about what’s going on, that we just need to print off and share! If enough people did this, I believe we will see them start to initiate bills to help us or at least vote on the bills that come up (by others), the way we need them too instead of just going along with the politics of their party! They need to SEE US and they need the truth presented to them, that shows all the lies being pushed by the anti-opioid groups! Obviously, there will be a few senators who still won’t listen or see us, but the majority should! Part of this advocacy must include how the DEA has overstepped their authority or has abused their authority (this includes state boards and attorney generals too because they provide doctors’ names for the DEA to raid)! Everyone probably can’t make actual visits to all of these places, so put it all on your senators! They are supposed to be working for us! Also, since the ADA has apparently started including disabled CPP’s under their umbrella of protections, maybe we also need THOUSANDS to make contact with them, so they have to start being more active in helping us? Just a thought!

   It took over 80 years, but our government seems to be enacting a new Nazi regime here in the USA! First, you decide who you will demonize and attack, and then the psychological manipulation and mind games begin. Our legislators are already banning books, making choices for our medical care, and even whether we are ready to become parents again. It is inhumane and criminal to force people to live in devastating and crippling pain to the point of being bedridden or choosing to commit suicide. These are the choices the Nazis gave to the populations they were exterminating! The Mighty USA has lost its ethical compass and value systems and is now treading into actual evil and immoral territories! For the first time in my life, I am ashamed of the government and the special interest groups that not only allow these criminal behaviors to happen but to continue!! This is not the USA that I grew up in! Government for and by the people is now just a mythical story that our children and grandchildren will tell their offspring if they can afford to have and raise children! The problem is and always has been CARTEL GENERATED DRUGS ENTERING THE USA! Perhaps if we did not waste half our nation’s budget on wars and took care of the people of the USA, we would not have all these shootings and other crimes happening here! We, The People, must return to a nation by and for the people, and we must return the practice of medicine, including treating pain, to the physicians with the medical education and experience to make these decisions. Life expectancy rates in the USA are declining not because we don’t have the knowledge and tools needed to treat diseases and medical problems but because medical care costs are so expensive that people put off seeing the doctor until a crisis happens and they have no other options! People should not have to live with severe pain and lose everything they worked for if they become ill or have a devastating accident that leaves them disabled! No other civilized nation has citizens living under these draconian conditions!! I am devastated that the situation worsens even when the research does not support these actions. All legitimate research has actually disputed and condemned these actions and policies!

       I have not stopped advocating… the post that you are referring to is what another advocate had published on the web.. I was just sharing… but… I am aware of some – what I would call major advocates – that have stepped back and some who are talking about stepping back.
