In the early 70’s robbing a pharmacy was reclassified as the same as robbing a bank.. because “Federal items” were inventoried – think control drugs.. Minimum sentence for robbing a bank is 10 yrs.. when is the last time that you see the FBI come out when a pharmacy is robbed ? More drugs on the street.. more work for the DEA to do…
