For people who think that the refusal to treat pain is just for chronic pain patients and they don’t feel that they shouldn’t help fix this issue. she got severely burned on her arm and went to the emergency room she was denied any pain medication while she was there and was sent home with nothing and was also was not given anything for When they did the debridement. So if you think this problem won’t affect you think again

  1. yes,Vic,dont worry. There is a very Mighty God above who is watching all of this closely, especially with the younger and seniors, who are the most vulnerable.Restitution will be swift and meted out with the same measure when it does.15 years ago I was given “Moh’s”surgery for a pnky fingernail sized basal cell carcinoma on my left arm just below the shoulder.I was slammed with a hit of local[lidocaine]intended to last 8-9hrs.Well,it did,but the pain from it was so intense I fell off the table and puked.found out later the amount was supposed to be given in 3 steps, but”they were running behind”Myears were ringing! After that,it was MULTIPLE trots from waiting room to “OR”they used what looked and performed like a cheese slicer, the type w/a metal wire. The bleeding was everywhere, and there were 7 others they were working on as well, like an assembly line. The “Dr.”and head nurse were laughing and singing together the whole time while patients had tears streaming down, myself included. What happens is they ‘flay’off skin layers, look at them under a scope till they see no more cancer cells, then hunt your body looking for a skin layer to harvest[what a nice expression]in my case,my opposite armpit. Here comes the needle again! It began at 9am and I was finally stapled shut at 6pm.All the while, there was a new nurse acting as an intern, she held my hand while I cried, cleaned my face cuz I couldnt, and she was sternly reprimanded for her kindness. If it wasnt for her I think I wouldve fainted. The horror on her face gave me a clue to the extent they went to[I dared not look]That’s when Hurricane Charlie chose to hit Orlando. The power failed,it’s August,I have my arm tied up overhead to stop bleeding, and the illegal bums from Mexico decide to have a party. All nite it was blasting that mariachi shit they call music, everyone, myself too,got to listen to their generator roaring, smelling gas fumes,THEN!I woke on the sofa to find a pool of blood, staples ripped out,and the graft area is now,all these yrs.later, softball sized and looks like a cougar bit a part of my arm out.I was given 10 tabs of Tylenol 3 for all this. And this was all in 2004!!As I prepare for hip surgery I am terrified.By the way,for the record, this butchers name is Maxine Tabas on Lee Rd. in Orlando.Anyone headed her way better reconsider!!!So,yes,a child shrieking about her eye,or a burn victim w/no pain treatment,yes-I believe and deeply understand.I am skipping doses and hoarding for my upcoming ‘chop shop’that’s on the way….my heart goes out to all fellow victims.Pray to Jesus with all your heart!L.Alligood

  2. People please buy secret cameras and video when you go to a doctor or ER for pain. Until we get these doctors on video and also mentioning what hospital they work for and sent to the press and pit it on social media nothing will change! My question if it was my daughter who had burns like that or having a painful procure without even a little sedation then people will not believe this is happening! We have to cover ourselves! I would have walked out before any one cleaned wounds like that or pUT me out. No excuse! People you must stand up for yourself and if you are not in the position to because you like to be nice let someone else watch over you who has your best interest at heart. The fact that any doctor would mess with a child eye while she is screaming in pain is higher probably that he would have damaged the eye even worse. I know one thing how can they ever blame doctor for kids opiate abuse when they do not give anything that will help during painful procedures

    • You’re right! I don’t believe it! Burns like that are the worst PAIN one can experience! They require hospitalization and skin grafts and possibly a medically induced coma.

  3. Do we live in the Dark Ages? We treat our animals better than this?

    • It’s affecting our pets, now, Nancy. A few months ago, my little 17 year old Pomeranian fell off our deck (about 9 to 10 feet). X-rays showed she had fractured her pelvic bone and had severe arthritis in her hips. She was sent home with nothing for pain. I ended up having to give her some of my tramadol, as I could not stand to see her suffer so badly (she’d taken that before when she had been spayed). Of course, I dosed her appropriately according to directions on a vet site. BTW this was our vet of over two decades who also knew we were good, responsible pet “parents.” She could not stand up on her hind legs long enough to even use the restroom. We ended up having to have her put down 24 hours later, as we saw she was suffering and had no quality of life. Most difficult decision of my life and hurt so bad to do that. May that vet have some karma coming soon.

  4. That is insane! Do we live in the Dark Ages?

  5. This garbage i is reminding me of the type of meatball surgery and medicine that was practiced during the Civil War. While there isn’t the lack of infection control and patients won t die of infection. But, that’s not to say that they won’t die of a stroke or a heart attack because of an untreated pain response. The way it’s going the next medical breakthrough will be a bullet to bite!

  6. This is real.. The person this happened to us in my chronic pain support group.people who don’t have chronic pain don’t realize that this is going on..

  7. This happened to my daughter 3 times now. First time she spilled boiling water on her inner thighs. 9 or 10 years old, 3rd degree burns, and no pain medicine. Then her thumb was broken backwards (completely broken had to get 2 pins). She was refused pain medicine until her hand surgeon finally gave her a script a week later! Finally she accidentally stabbed her eye with a knife. Missed her eyeball but the knife went into her eyelid into her eyesocket. No pain medicine as she screamed bloody murder while the doctor worked on her eye (and she didn’t even cry for the broken thumb so she is not a wimp). They accidentally superglued her eyelashes into the wound and had to pluck them out one by one. Still no pain meds and they reprimanded her for crying out. I am one angry momma!

    • Alicia; holy cripes, every time I think the medical profession has hit the worst sadism level, I hear something even worse. They reprimanded a 9 year old for crying out?!?!? My God, that’s so blatantly child abuse.

    • Alicia, please report those doctors to your state board of medicine. It may not do any good, however, if we start complaining about this inhumane treatment, perhaps we can grab more people’s attention. That is despicable and has probably traumatized your daughter. I hope she is doing better.

    • omfg that is torture!!! Our Government and thier sidekicks the CDC, DEA FDA AND PROP have put genocidal policies in motion over 2 years ago. A fellow brother in pain shared a video in our support group about the T4 program and how the nurses committed murder, and What is happening NATIONWIDE is a mirror image of what Hitler did. We are being pushed to the streets for relief or worse #SuicideDueToPain. They are using the medical community to push their horrific policies onto the disabled, the sickest of the sick, our Vets , DENYING us our LIFESAVING PAIN MEDICATION, leaving millions in a torturous hell until the overbearing pain pushes many over the edge.

I am so sorry for what your daughter went thru and this person as well. I think about the amount of pain that goes along with burns and how the hell the drs and nurses can so nonchalantly go about thier day as thier pts scream in pain. f*** no! Id be beating someone over the head if i were left like that. superglued her eyelashes WTF?!?! I am so dam mad!

  8. Please do provide the hospital, etc. in order to appease those who refuse to believe this is really happening (I know it is) so that their doubt can be addressed and their eyes opened to today’s reality.

    • I am a licensed healthcare professional and not sure where Protected Health Information of HIPAA is or is not and I don’t want to cross that line… intentionally or unintentionally… the person’s listed that they live in Michigan. Others can believe or not believe… I posted two similar pics from two different hospitals in the last couple of days… IMO.. there will be more that will be showing up.. Maybe some that are doubting will have the opportunity to have a similar first hand experience in their local ER

      • Frankly I’ve gotten to the point that I not only hope the fiends behind the hysteria (i.e. Kolodny & kompany) suffer agonizing, untreated pain, I hope that the “civilians” who deliberately turn a blind eye to the issue find themselves suddenly & brutally educated about the reality they’re ignoring. I used to be a decent person.

  9. Monsters indeed. May they reap what they sew.

  10. My question is this: Was this patient already taking pain meds? I went to the ER 2 yrs ago with a badly lacerated right forearm from a freak accident. The ER doctor wanted to admit me but the plastic surgeon couldn’t come in, so they bandaged me up and instead of giving me additional pain meds they injected something which helped. I told them that I had taken 10 mg of oxycodone right after it happened 20 minutes prior. Just the same, it wasn’t exactly comfortable to have it tended to. It seems strange if this patient wasn’t at least given a local.

    • There are emergency rooms that are going “narcotic free” regardless of the disease or injury. In addition to not providing pain meds, they will not provide any type of sedative of anxiolytic. I can only imagine how dangerous this could be for patients with certain conditions, not to mention the geriatric population.

It is true some hospitals won’t give pain meds in the ER if they know the patient takes anything at home for chronic pain. This is also barbaric. If a patient takes medicine for chronic pain, but they break a leg or get shot, that would then be acute pain. The medication they took at home would not help, nor would it be very effective to continue to only give them their home dose while they are in the hospital. They would need to have their dosage raised temporarily while they are in the hospital. This used to be known among all doctors.

      • If that’s true, they’re going to have an increase of dead patients on their hands. There’s a reason we started using them in the first place…

    • Alta, with all due respect, in Jan 2015, my local hospital (North Arkansas Regional Medical Center located in Harrison, Arkansas) denied my 68 year old disabled, chronically ill dad, who was a palliative care patient on 19 to 20 different medications (not one for pain), on oxygen 24/7 and confined to a wheelchair 24/7 with too many medical conditions (many of them known to be very painful) any pain relief while hospitalized just one week prior to being placed on hospice, three weeks prior to his death. His blood pressure had skyrocketed to dangerous numbers from the severe pain he was in, despite giving him dose after dose of bp medication. He was completely helpless and could not even sit up in a wheelchair at that point. It took me nicely and calmly pointing out to the nurse that his bp was putting him at a huge risk of having a stroke and that I knew this was not her fault, however, if she could please relay the message to the hospitalist (who I refuse to call a doctor) that if he suffered a stroke or heart attack while hospitalized, we would be speaking to our family lawyer. I’ll admit I was shocked that it worked. (Did I mention that when we demanded he be transferred to another hospital that would treat his pain, they said “no.” We then told them we would take him somewhere else (not sure how we’d get him in a vehicle since he could not stand to sit up due to the pain), they threatened us that medicare would deny payment if he left “against medical advice.”

  11. I would love to know the state , city , hospital and drs who did this horror

    • I know Spectrum Health, the largest health care system in Grand Rapids,MI as well as Mercy Health and Metro Health, all are opiate free in the ER,, no matter what the ailment or injury. There are no exceptions. Spectrum is completely opiate free. No opiates are given even post surgery. They only give Toradol.

  12. I would like all the idiots to walk a week with these burns
Our politicians backing this stupid law need to be votted off their seats!!!!!

  13. Good god almighty. This insanity has gone so far beyond anything, well, sane, it’s also beyond barbaric, well into extremely sadistic. Did they accuse her of setting herself on fire in order to get pain meds or something?? And people accuse me of being nuts when I say I’m utterly terrified of getting into an accident or being injured b/c I know they won’t do anything in the ER even if I had a bone sticking out thru my skin. Burns are about THE most painful injury there is, fa God’s sake!!

  14. Jesus,,,wth,,,this poor person,,talk about torturers,,,,This what America’s government has done,,and yellow bellied Doctors concerned more about their pocket books then anyone’s life!!!Hey Andrew Kolodny,,,u should be proud,,,your torture experiments r working,,sicko,,maryw

    • Mary I agree with you except the party of Dr’s being more concerned with their pockets. Dr’s are scared for their licences, they’re being targeted and prosecuted for the wrong reasons. Add Steve says they’re low hanging fruit the seize their assets and put them out of business terrifying the remaining Dr’s who want to help but are afraid to risk it.

  15. This is horrible! They treat our dogs better.

  16. Whose Idea was this whitholding of pain medication from people? Who decided to emotionally beatdown the injured. Who initiated this warefare tactic of pure torture on the American people? What was the true initiative besides the mental and emotional breakdown of people in their weakest state of health, collectively. Those people who would remove access to medication to a whole group of people are a poison to our country and countrymen.

    • That would be the alarmist tactics of the CDC on behalf pharma. Create fear and antiopioid sentiment, define addiction and pain market, introduce treatments already being developed to save the day.
Ignorance and fear makes people do horrific things, such as genocide. This is no different. All about money. Every one of us is being played.

    • The CDC and FDA

      • It isn’t the FDA. In fact, they refused PROP when they were approached by them, which is why they then went to the CDC.

    • Started by 1 Andrew Kolodny and PROP……maryw

  17. Its disgusting and sadistic. Working hard to change this. Dont punish pain!

  18. I swear this just plain ignorance!

    • Unfortunately it’s way more sinister than ignorance, it’s greed! They will make billions on opioid addiction treatments

  19. monsters
