chronic pain pts should share their pain when they have their meds cut off ?

eeeeHi Steve I saw an older post to send you info on pain management doctors cutting patients meds.  I was a pain patient with this office for 11 years Dr. Roger B. Stephens in Sacramento, Ca.  Dr. Stevens retired many years ago & the other doctors Dr.Kim & Dr.Leano took it over but the name remains on the door. Dr. Kim & Dr Leano both prescribed for me for the last 11 years I was considered a model patient never any problems ever in 11 years until recently. I was abandoned at my last monthly apt. looking back at how the visit played out & how it all went it was pointed out to me it was most likely planned to happen. Anyway I requested my sudden forced rapid taper they were ignoring the negative effects already happening to me I still was going to be forced to continue regardless of what happened to me. Per usual the excuse we always disagreed on was used & blamed on the CDC guidelines one size fits all dose excuse everyone was being taken down to & was being used to justify my medically unnecessary taper & torture no matter how much what they were doing was wrong & killing me even though they agreed with me repeatedly at many many many visits this shouldn’t be done & they used to fight to keep my meds no longer. My forced taper was was also blamed on the third party provider,  drug addicts, societies opinion & the CDC guidelines all were used as the reason for my pain meds being forced to reduce against my will & my families wishes all was ignored & finally at my last apt. I was released after asking for a temp stall in tapering or at least a slow down on the dose amount of the tapering asking why I suddenly went from tapering by only one 30 mg. tablet a month to now I was to be reduced by 80 % to almost 90% of medications I took for 2 decades successfully. I never was given an answer except for the third party provider doctor said so & had dictated I had to be reduced rapidly in just 3 to 4 months down to the CDC max. dose no changes it was in stone . I had been slowly tapering for almost a year after a forced med change & severe dose reduction I had been reducing by 1 30 mg tablet a month & then suddenly it was to be all done in just weeks without any explanation why it must be sped up I was truly afraid for my life that this would kill me. I was terrified to be returned to pain I hadn’t felt without pain relief in 20 years & didn’t think I or my body would survive it.  To be returned to basically no effective meds & all that pain was going to be even worse then ever before because now I know the benefits of pain being relieved & was so afraid I wouldn’t survive my body would fail or I wouldn’t be able to cope with it.  So anyway she gave me my 30 day script a one sentence letter saying we didn’t agree on my treatment so she wouldn’t treat me any longer & she also gave me list of other pain doctors in the area. The same doctors she had spent the last year threatening me with them that they would treaty me worse then her when she would justify her actions and cancelled my apts. & would not see me again.

This is a post that I made over 2 yrs ago... https://www.pharmaciststeve.com/?p=12615

When a pt has their meds reduced or stopped generally they move from just being “handicapped pt” to a “non-functioning handicapped person” and the whole family suffers from the action of the prescriber.  This posts deals with the potential consequences for the prescriber for the harm done to “the family” the last thing that the prescriber would be expecting is to be sued by the family for loss of companionship…

  1. Actually he wasn’t the genius who said opiods don’t help wth pain he stole that line from one of the idiots at the CDC responsible for writing the opiods guideline. I sure hope after I’m back on my feet after my upcoming spine surgery i will sue 4 of those idiots at the CDC.

  2. A couple of things on a positive note, A I have been told by the Cleveland clinic administration , that they are aware of a problem and (will address it). What that means however I’m not really sure?

Have seen very little affect at ER (Hillcrest) and absolutely no mention in any of the news rags or TV brainwashing that indicates positive change!

Aside from that I bieng in a poor financial state have found a temp. Solution!
I was forced into a administrative detox by a Dr. Yonan former advisor to Clev. clinic . Not bieng able to fight just too beat up from the accident, & and financially insolvent this was my solution .
Although told repeatedly I was not an addict by my own PM dr’s, found relief at the local methadone treatment center. I am at one dose of 100 mg’s per day. But aside from purchasing opiates on street , it was all I could do to fight the madness “literally” ! My pain caused my former marine training to come out in a less than positive fashion. I have seen many a person step off the edge. So I know what it looks like, before it happens literally. I found myself in that position. With the Feds taking no pity on those in pain,& a new way to kill us all. It’s a game for them so it’s a game for us now!

Although not managing pain, it was all I could think of to solve the problem. It falls completely on its face after 8 hrs. It’s all I could do & certainly better than cut off.

Interestingly there seams to be more than just cap limits on meds.
They now are suggesting that oppiods “don’t actually kill pain” so we need them not. That quote came right from a state trained addiction Dr.
So I am curious as to why Anastasia uses oppiods to perform surgery . Maybe they have a new sugar pill in the waits that will do it next!
Now it might be said that if you exhibit pain your mentally ill, a new illness, thanks for Government the really help,… Ahhhhg

  3. Thank you Steve, for all you do for us fellow Americans!!!

  4. This has got to stop. It’s inhumane. It’s not medicine. Where does it end how many have to die from being forced to live in physical pain till we are forced to permanently end our own suffering? Even then do you think our deaths will be acknowledged for what it is? No. It will go towards the statistics of deaths related to the opiods crisis. The real crisis is what’s happening to us. I curse them all the CDC the FDA the so called monsters dressed as medical professionals sworn to help heal the sick mend the injured comfort those in pain. It’s gone. I hope they all get what’s coming to them in spades. No one leaves this life without experiencing pain i hope they burn in hell. Even tho that’s way to good for them.

  5. 3 times a charm,,jmo,,im going to get 1 of those wrist heart monitores to see the effect again,,of forced physical pain on my heart,,Having 17 cardiac ablation already, from forced physical pain,,,this will be interesting and PROOF,, their willfully killing us..Maybe others might want to try it tooo,??,,a wrist halter monitor for the heart,,u press a button when u are in FORCED physical pain, and u will see the effects on your heart..Now most irregular heart arrhythmias do not physically heart,so don’t think nothing is happening if your not having chest pain,,,thats normal,,not to hve chest pain w/arrhythmias,,,but record what your heart does,,in forced physical pain,,it may help us all as PROOF,, their willfully killing us,,for repeated cardiac arrhythmias,,will cause heart muscle damage,,just thinken out loud,,maryw
