The results of DENIAL OF CARE and COLD TURKEY WITHDRAWAL
This appeared in a closed FB page dedicated to chronic pain pts and their advocates. To those who know what they are doing.. it is well known that cold turkey withdrawal from opiates or benzos can cause a hypertensive crisis… causing a stroke and sometimes DEATH.. We routinely see prescribers being charged with various crimes for pts dying from ODing on controlled meds… Does anyone believe that we will see charges against health care DENIERS when pts DIE from cold turkey withdrawal ?
If this pt had died of a medical error, I would bet that attorneys would be circling like vultures circling over “road kill”… but.. will they bother to take a second look at this unnecessary PREVENTABLE DEATH ?
Loss of Life due to CDC Guidelines – It is with a very heavy heart that I report that one of our members lost a cousin due to the government’s gross negligence of the chronic pain patients. I won’t divulge names at this time, as I want to respect the family’s time to grieve. It was reported by one of our members that she lost her cousin, age 56, due to a massive stroke caused by the sudden discontinuance of his meds. His meds were not discontinued because it was in the best interests of his health. It was because of the government’s War on Heroin. He was taken off life support rather than being left in a vegetative state. Please keep this family in your prayers as his two daughters try to cope with this tragic loss. A doctor is responsible for this death. Our government is responsible for this death. The CDC, DEA, and the State of Florida is responsible for this man’s untimely and needless death. Please keep this family in our prayers.

I know that withdrawal can cause a hypertensive crisis. I once went too long not taking my meds because my pain was at a low level. My blood pressure and heartbeat shot up and I was shaking. My BP tends to run on the low side, and this was scary! I realized what might be wrong, took the meds, and I was OK but now I know what can happen if I were to be without them all of a sudden. I guess I would just have to call 911 if it happens again one day.
My sincere condolences.
Strokes, Heart attacks and Suicides are quickly becoming the most serious epidemic facing our country and it’s ALL the federal government’s fault. The very day that the needs of the few started being more important than the needs of the many was the day that I stopped believing in the United States.
Are we fighting an unwinnable war?
The answer to this question should be a huge HELL NO!
Are our actions futile?
Right now yes, our actions are futile.
Every day I look at posts on several different chronic pain Facebook groups and see the frustration and anger in the comments of posted articles.
Every single day so many of these people only ask why this is all happening and most of them have some sort of idea on what we should do.
Then every day all these people cower in the corners of their private groups and don’t do a thing other then promote useless petitions that will never get enough signatures to matter, or they just simply Bitch about it all.
I’m sorry people but if you are sitting back waiting for someone else to fight your battles for you it’s not about to happen. Making comments in private groups in which only other people who are in the same predicament as yourself can read is not going to do much of anything.
It’s time to stop BITCHING AND COMPLAINING to each other on Facebook and start MAKING OUR VOICES BE HEARD BY THE PEOPLE who are screwing us over. As Steve has been saying for quite some time, IN NOVEMBER, IT’S TIME FOR A LEADERSHIP CHANGE IN GOVERNMENT. We need to ALL VOTE and vote for every opponent, NOT FOR THE INCUMBENTS at both the Federal and State levels. We might be hurting and crippled, but there are a lot of us and strength comes in numbers. LET’S GIVE A BIG FUCK YOU TO THE SITTING LAW MAKERS BY MAKING THEM ALL HAVE TO LOOK FOR A NEW JOB COME JANUARY 2017!

This is happening to more and more patients. Doctors do not care if they take you off your meds. What can be done to stop it? Death? I know doctors just don’t care if you die either as reported from this man. So many people in chronic pain groups report over and over again that doctors just stop their pain meds. One Pain Specialist told me to go to rehab because I wouldn’t take his NON-FDA approved shots in my spine. I’m not a junkie, I’m not a drug addict…I’m a person in 24/7 pain. Who is gaining weight because I can’t move or do anything with the pain so bad. I think this man might be lucky to get out of this hell we’re in.
My prayers are with the family!! This is soooo readiculas and out of control. I’m so mad. I at least got to taper myself off because I knew that would be my last script.
How very sad, and we know there’s more to come. I sure this gets reported to many, many government and the right non-government people involved in this crazy holocaust! Many prayers to the family and friends!

This why I firmly believe,,they will not stop no matter who’s in office,,untril they are stopped via lawsuit against the entire United States Government for crimes against humanity,willfull torture and genocide onto the medically ill.No-one votes in the klondynes,the dea’s,,they are appointed,,and not by us,,,,Laws are needed to respect the death of those who have died from this genocide.mary
