DOES $ 50.00 for a PAPERBACK seems a bit HIGH ?

I have not bought this book, nor read this book, nor The American Declaration of Independence, adopted on July 4, 1776, contains these famous words: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” (emphasis added).

especially during the 20th century, our federal government implemented a number of “social safety nets” intended to help mitigate or solve a number of “human suffering” most notably social security, Medicare, war on poverty (Medicaid), Affordable care act ( Obamacare), unemployment, 12 yrs of a no cost public education.  Life, Liberty & Pursuit of Happiness is seriously intertwined. Did our Founding Fathers intend for their successors in the three branches of our Federal Gov to codify what the definition of those three words encompassed ? If “we” allow bureaucrats to define or limit the scope of mean of any one of these unalienable rights will impact the meaning and/or scope of the other two unalienable rights

    Their arrogance,actually made them think,they have the right to literaly torture the weakest among us, the medically ill.
    Their $$$$ bought all of us a new demented reality,of all new definition, new units of measure,and a new standard of inhumane moral conduct of torture onto the medically ill is acceptable.
    The HUMANE CARE FOR THE WELL BEING OF ALL OF SOCIETY, doesn’t matter anymore.
    Their money, essential created and forced a new DEMENTED reality, OF IT IS NOW CORRECT to willfully be inhumane,tortureous to the weakest in society,,

  5. We can be certain neither of them or anyone they care about are in pain. I expect their opinions will change when it affects their quality of life.

    • The politicians and their loved ones are receiving pain control. WHAT A SMACK IN THE FACE TO EVERY AMERICAN CPP. This made me sick to my stomach. They aren’t being forced to suffer, only us peons, we were the ones paying our taxes, etc. Everything about this BIG LIE IS PURELY POLITICAL.

  6. And yet they lack the single most important factor. The personal experience of that which they purport to be experts in. If you ask me, this is nothing more than another ignorance saturated attempt to downplay and undermine that which they lack the fullness of understanding of, errantly assuming that chronic pain is an aching back, pinched nerve, pulled muscle or any of the other countless conditions that people with normally functioning bodies tend to sustain, which typically fade with time. Even the summary suggests that they believe chronic pain=weak person, which is by far the most damning evidence that they have no real world experience nor any actual knowledge about chronic pain in reality, even though they’re clearly convinced they are rising stars in the ever-growing field of self aggrandizing “experts”.

    • Finally someone who gets thee importance of ,”real world knowledge,thru real world experience,when it comes to a human condition..A book aint gonna teach you how it physically feel to endure physical pain,it impossible..It is impossible to physically feel; the physical pain of another,literally impossible,thus obtaining knowledge from those of us who do,day in day out,is thee only essential correct way of learning,and addressing it.Just like a book will never teach a anyone,exactly how it feels to burry a child or a loose a pet,,,Its something that should always be left alone,leave it be type,let it be, approach,,non-of your business to tell a parent HOW” THEY SHOULD DEAL W/THE DEATH,, out of respect for humanity,,.,However academia has censored our voices, lied, everywhere,,,thus it will never get fixed untill those who have lived it,are making the decision on it,,,maryw

  7. I guess you have to read Mein Kampf if you want to understand Hitler. I’m not sure. I really wanna understand these two I already understand their bias. And, I guess that makes me biased.

    • If you understand anything about those people, you’re a far better man than I, Gunga Din.

      And I know two people who really deserve to understand, at the most basic level, what life with real suffering is like. Too bad karma usually takes a long time to come around.

      (& btw, I’ve read Mein Kampf….the only thing I understood about Hitler from it was, he was an even more petty, evil little maggot than I thought, who also couldn’t write worth a damn).
