Remember Doctors have very little to do with this (and as a group always will have little to do with this). The gun pointed at their heads is real and enormous. They can be ostracized in the business by their overlords – the Admins, lose their licenses, become forever covered in permanent black marker marks, …or be imprisoned for a very ling time.
REMEMBER, AGAIN, it is entirely about the money a few in the DOJ/AG (and their helpers) can pocket very quickly. It started out, with what was even then, an unfounded fear that it actually was medicinal opiates. Then some ‘wise’ one saw where the mother load of ‘easy’ money was and the DOJ/AG laid their plans.
