NECC Victim: Pharmacists ‘Stripped Me Of My Quality Of Life

If a Pharmacist strips a chronic pain pt’s of their quality of life.. that is OK .. because they have the “blessing” of the DEA ?

  1. There’s no excuse for this. None. Shame on those who hurt these people.

What amazed me was the reports of visible black fungus pariticles in the vials that were sent out to the doctors offices which were used for the injections. When I mixed IVs in the hospital, I had been taught back in pharmacy school to always check vials for particulate matter before drawing it up in the syringe. So then neither the nurses nor the doctors checked the vials? then they are just as guilty and should be held accountable. Monetary compensation will never make up for the crime that was done to these patients and their families. NECC was greed pure and simple and unfortunately took the good compounding pharmacies down with them.

  3. Well it’s about time that these patients get their day and hopefully get some satisfaction. Nothing will ever turn back the clock and undue the damages done or give back the loss of the loved one. The compounding pharmacy needs to be severely reprimanded and those doctors doing these injections? should take some injections themselves, by a doctor who doesn’t have much experience so they can see what these steroid shots feel like to them. For many people it’s not worth the risk for just temporary minimal relief .. IF ANY relief at all!
Especially when the doctor pushes the needle in just a little too far and punctures the dura. Then.. maybe then, these doctors will maybe have a better understanding of what Archnoiditis feels like too. These shots should be outlawed. It’s been proven that they are very dangerous in the cervical region and for others, they only help very few patients anyway. The doctors love to give them because they love the money they get paid from the insurance companies. Sort of like all the money they are allowed to charge for monthly Urine tests! Mine was $2235.00 for only one month!! A huge unnecessary rip off when the patient has been tested every single month and the results come back perfect every time! These should be done random if they really wanted to catch somebody doing something wrong.. but nope, they love the money those bring in every month since patients are refusing these procedures now days. Pain Care needs to change for the better this year.
