An Iowa woman who did not cheat on her taxes or launder money has had her entire life savings confiscated by the Internal Revenue Service simply because she deposited less than $10,000 at a time into the bank.

The paper explains: “Using a law designed to catch drug traffickers, racketeers and terrorists by tracking their cash, the government has gone after run-of-the-mill business owners and wage earners without so much as an allegation that they have committed serious crimes. The government can take the money without ever filing a criminal complaint, and the owners are left to prove they are innocent. Many give up.”
“Last year, banks filed more than 700,000 suspicious activity reports. Owners who are caught up in structuring cases often cannot afford to fight. The median amount seized by the IRS was $34,000, according to the Institute for Justice analysis, while legal costs can easily mount to $20,000 or more.”
The DEA’s version of this confiscating a innocent’s person money is called

civil forfeiture – guilty until proven innocent

On Cavuto today judge Andrew P. Napolitano discussed these civil forfeiture laws and in his opinion… Congress passed these laws and they are UNCONSTITUTIONAL..

In thinking how the DEA and the IRS works.. the large companies gets fines.. no forfeitures .. so they can’t challenge the law..  The people they use the forfeiture laws against… are drug dealers… that are criminals.. and small business person.. that once the DEA or IRS seizes all their assets.. they have nothing left to even defend themselves.. let alone challenge the legality of the forfeiture law..

Abraham Lincoln said, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”,

I think that this phrase has been changed… “government of the bureaucrats, by the bureaucrats and screw the people !  But I may be wrong…

  1. Our government agencies are acting like the Gestapo. They seize money or property and the person cannot afford to pay a lawyer to go through the corrupt system to get it back and/or they never get it all back.
