Dr. Thomas Kline, MD, PhD: Myth 14: Benzodiazapines will addict and kill you

Valium related drugs, or benzos, are an especially drug for treating seizures, comas, and anxiety. attempts to demonize benzos are underway. the medical text do not support the dangers claimed. We do not recommend tapering unless previous shown genetic addiction of opioids or benzos.

  1. I had a pharmacist told me a few weeks ago, after I commented that due to recent, situational, incredibly high stressors, I desperately wished I could have a few anti-anxiety-type pills (I’m talking maybe 6-8). She responded by saying that all that would do is make my anxiety much worse by making me even more anxious to have a steady supply of anxiety meds when those ran out. Apparently they’re heroin pills, too; instantly, permanently addictive in all cases. And this was a pharmacist who’s seemed relatively sane in this age of hysteria.

happily, I managed not to launch myself over the counter at her. Nor did I give in to collapse….that’s just happening day by day, week by week. Like a very, very slow motion train wreck. Except for the fact that there are legal, safe substances that could help stop the train wreck (or at least minimize the damages) but because occasionally someone falls asleep on the tracks & gets turned into sausage, I can’t have them. And I don’t even get near the tracks & never have.

  2. I was once challenged by a psychiatrist to show him ONE case in the literature describing Benzo addiction by a patient who took manufacturer max recommended dose or less. After 10 days, I had to admit defeat.

    • Dependance is not addiction

      Addicts NEVER STOP INCREASING
THOSE WHO NEED THE MEDICAL RELIEF..DONT.
ADDICTION IS INHERITED..BUT ADDICTION CAN BE MANAGED IF ONE LOVES TO JUST LIVE ..AND NOT BE WAY OVER THEIR HEAD AND IN DEEP POO
