A few counties in OHIO reduction in “pain killers” prescribed is newsworthy in NEW ENGLAND?
Does anyone believe that a reduction in rapes, murders, drunk drivers in a few counties 600+ miles away would have been newsworthy?
There is no “war on rape”… there is no federal/state program like MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers)…but there is that pesky war on drugs that never seems to get enough money to fund itself and never seems to make any progress in winning this war.
There is a quote that I have heard many times ” every time they try to make something idiot proof.. they build better idiots” Some think that people who abuse some substance… are idiots…. for going down this path… should we rename this war to the war on idiots?
