  4. Steve, does he want to hear stories?

  5. Hello,

I was born with a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. About 1 in 2500 have this. The number one issue we face is pain. Our tissues are weak and cause so many issues that u would be shocked. The disorder is also progressive.

Pain meds are my only hope and the only hope for those with my condition. There are times when need a strength increase or breakthrough strength meds, but the docs have all freaked out and this war on pain meds has seeped into my world. My world is tiny and limited.

I would ask that you please discuss what pain patients are going through. Please give the other side of the coin point of view.

    Thank you

  6. This opioid crises is leading people to cross the border to Mexico to pharmacys, which is legal there and get pain meds and also legal to cross it back over.Is this really what the DEA wants? We are suffering,no quality of life anymore. So sad that our own people in charge of this madness is doing us harm.

    • I heard Mexico didn’t have any in their pharmacies. Is that not true?

    • Tell us more about your experience in Mexico please… I can’t go all that way and get stiffed.

    • Can we really go into Mexico to see a doctor there and get pain meds? I’m two hours from the border. Is this really true?

      • Now I think what is meant by “legal” here is that they still prescribe opiates in the medical setting. But sitting here in Wisconsin and having asked the same question with no satisfying response is, from what I can glean; They practice medicine formally down there just like us, but there is no one staying up nights trying to force a connection to medicinal opiates and over-dosers and one can get medicinal opiates for all the right reasons.
Even concern for illicit drugs is nothing like here, however the dose is unreliable from street corner ‘banditos’. Mexico is not a third world country, especially since USA billionaires outsourced half of our industry down there for the cheap labor. They have not as of yet decriminalized drugs, like they said they would in 2020, that would help a lot. I do know two folks that went to Costa Rica just to get a real doctor that prescribes severe pain medicine.
