Is this how employers lay the ground work to discharge employees treating chronic pain with opiates ?

This is a recent memo from the TSA dept… it would appear by some who work for the TSA that they are laying the ground work for forcing employees off prescribed opiates and/or find reason to discharge employees who require opiates to treat their chronic pain.

Those chronic pain pts know that the taking of opiates typically do not affect their ability to perform most/all functions without compromise.

Of course, those who don’t have experience with taking opiates for chronic pain seem to refuse to listen/believe such

  1. Grrrrrr,,,after discovering my legally prescribed medicine,,which I tested w/a ,”pee drug test,”,,,both tested positive for methadone..1 problem,,,they weren’t both methadone,,and no pee added,,just water,,One was a different legal prescribed medicine,,Soo I have to ask myself,,,are they really testing for a synthetic opiate or are they simply testing for ANY derivative of the poppy plant??or actually MAKING the molecule of a compound by adding the ,’reagants into that cup before anyone substances/ pees,,In every drug kit in America,,,their are chemicals in that ,”test,” kit before any substance/pee is added to it,,These chemicals are ethanol and acid BEFORE any substance is added to the drug MAKING kit.,,,,
BTW,,, they have been doing this for years,,,drug testing,,,and if that MRO officer deem u guilty,,u r,,your fired,,,If u want to fight it,,good luck,,for usually with employment being sooo bad,,,or if that company is a big employer in your town,,,,the judges will rule in the companies favor,,,by useing ,”at will employment laws,,”’ u can be fired at any time for any reason,,,maryw
