They say history repeats itself ?

This poster (from around 1938) reads: “60,000 Reichsmark is what this person suffering from a hereditary defect costs the People’s community during his lifetime. Fellow citizen, that is your money too. Read ‘[A] New People‘, the monthly magazine of the Bureau for Race Politics of the NSDAP.”

Action T4 (German: Aktion T4, pronounced [akˈtsi̯oːn teː fiːɐ]) was the postwar designation for a programme of forced euthanasia in wartime Nazi Germany.[2] The name T4 is an abbreviation of Tiergartenstraße 4, a street address of the Chancellery department set up in spring 1940 in the Berlin borough of Tiergarten, which recruited and paid personnel associated with T4.[3][4] Under the programme German physicians were directed to sign off patients “incurably sick, by critical medical examination” and then administer to them a “mercy death” (German: Gnadentod).[5] In October 1939 Adolf Hitler signed a “euthanasia decree” backdated to 1 September 1939 that authorized Reichsleiter Philipp Bouhler, the chief of his Chancellery,[6] and Dr. Karl Brandt, Hitler’s personal physician, to carry out the programme of involuntary euthanasia (translated as follows):

Reich Leader Bouhler and Dr. Brandt are entrusted with the responsibility of extending the authority of physicians, designated by name, so that patients who, on the basis of human judgment [menschlichem Ermessen], are considered incurable, can be granted mercy death [Gnadentod] after a definitive diagnosis. — Adolf Hitler

  1. I’ve noticed all the shameful similarities to Nazi Germany from the very beginning of the Anti-Opioid “Propaganda” Campaign. It is so similar in fact, that I wonder if our Governmental Agencies & Politicians actually took a page right out of the “Nazi Handbook”. Adolf Hitler would be so proud!

It seems to me that the Anti-Opioid Zealots based most of the Chronic Pain & Opioid Propaganda on existing stereotypes, stigma, scary statistics (that don’t hold up to any usual “scientific standards”) & played off societal fear & ignorance. Purposely confusing all the elements of drug abuse/addiction, with legitimate Chronic Pain treatment/pt’s was the icing on the cake.

Just like the Nazi’s did with those deemed physically/mentally incapable, or undesirable, for whatever reason. The Nazi’s simply CONFIRMED stereotypes & stigmas, and added a pseudoscientific lie here or there to get the people’s “support”. It doesn’t take much strategy, or “proof” to agree with someone’s existing prejudices.

Pt abandonment & discrimination is quickly becoming the standard of care for Chronic Pain Pt’s, & by default, it will become THE LAW. Maybe a history lesson is exactly what’s required to wake Americans up.

  2. Dr. Liften is mentioned on the WIKI page. Isn’t he the one who amputated the military’s wounded in a surgical theatre with an audience who cheered him on for the speed at which he could complete an amputation? Forty-five seconds was his fastest. This was when scientific docs were working on the first anesthesia recipes. Not sure if it’s the same guy, but the documentary is on YouTube.

  3. Wow, I’ve never heard this. So many people are currently thinking along these lines now, according to comments I read.
