Why do politicians have to lie, deflect, misdirect ?

Carly Fiorina claims that she and her husband buried a “child”… when actually it was her step-child and that the “child” was actually a 35 y/o adult ..  That child died of bulimia in combination with “drug abuse” and “alcohol abuse”…  Obviously this “child” had some serious mental health issues, and the definition of “drug abuse” is not explained. Just like the fact that the CDC claims that 44 K die from drug over doses.. yet almost HALF are do to non-prescription medication, and only 16 K can be contributed to legal/illegal opiates and we don’t keep track how many of those 16 K are suicides and not accidental.  IMO… what we need is a lot of  honesty/truth in POLITICS. Let’s cut out all the BULL SHIT. None of the candidates – regardless of political party – are INNOCENT of deception…

  1. Politicians, they’re taught to lie from the very moment that they decided to get into politics. Most come out of college and intern for sitting senators or congressmen so they can learn from the very start that they must lie to get votes. Honesty and government are just 2 words that will always clash when they are put into the same sentence. It’s no longer about serving the public, but about power. Why else would a person spend tens if not hundreds of millions dollars just to get a job that only pays a few hundred thousand dollars a year? POWER, Maybe we should start voting for the person who’s not trying or can’t afford to buy our vote, or at least listen to what that person has to offer because it will probably the only honesty out there.
